I used to to use Samsung Smart Switch to sync between my PC and Galaxy S4 – S8, it was perfect for the job, but it doesn’t seem to work on Office 2016 C2R. Basically I don’t want to sync all my “Accounts”; hotmail, gmail virgin etc, because it all gets confused, duplicates created, plus there is just no need to as all it does is quadruple the spam and end up all over the web.
If I need to email I just go to my ‘Phone’ Contacts and press on the email link simple.I keep all my “Wanted” folders on my PC as a.pst file and would sync that ‘Contact’ & ‘Calendar’ with my ‘Phone’ ‘Contacts & Calendars. All my “Accounts” just store the daily.ost email Accounts until I move or delete the emails, they never have any info in Contacts & Calendars. This keeps thing safe and secure as I use a Secondary Backup as well. Also I have used IMAP for years and it has never caused a problem, as I use the Local account.I have contacted Microsoft and Samsung; with both companies blaming each other and neither doing anything to fix or even comment as to why it is happening. Any Ideas how to “2 way” sync the local PC.pst with the ‘Phone’ contacts & calendar. I have tried exporting.csv files but that of has problems with ‘File As’ etc. Any Ideas would be appreciated.Comments are closed.
